Normandy Boston Terriers, is a small and very professional home breeder, located in South Florida. We breed to produce the very best pet and companion Boston Terrier puppies. Our goal is to continue the integerity of the breed and provide healthy puppies to loving homes.

At Normandy Boston Terriers we breed Standard, Colored and Splash Boston's. All of our Dogs and Puppies are AKC (American Kennel Club) registerable. All our puppies are cleared for Juvenile Hereditary Cataracts (JHC), microchipped and are current with all vaccinations.

AKC Colored Boston Terriers

Many people aren't aware that the varying colors of Boston Terriers are not something new to the breed. Quite the contrary the colors are original to the breed and the first standard written for the Boston Terrier included "All Colors" for conformation showing.

Anyone who owns a Boston Terrier of color and would like to have their dog properly color registered you may do so by contacting the AKC Special Services Department. Those of you would need to mail your puppy's AKC registration application, 3 (minimum) photos of your Boston Terrier in natural light (outside) which best shows the coat color, printed on photo paper (not copy paper), and a formal letter highlighting the importance of having your puppy properly color and what color you would like he/she registered as to:

The colors black/white, black/brindle/white, brindle/white, seal/white, seal/brindle/white are listed on the registration. If your Boston Terrier is not any of these, there is an "other colors list" that has been designated by the parent breed club (as told to us by the AKC). The colors that are on this list include: red/white, liver/white, fawn/white, blue/white, red/brindle/white, liver/brindle/white, blue/brindle/white, white/black, white/brindle, white/seal, white/red, white/liver, white/fawn, and white/blue.

About the
Boston Terrier

The Boston Terrier is the first true American creation of a purebred dog. Nicknamed the American Gentleman, tremendous progress has been made in developing the Boston Terrier we know today. Very few have the disposition and quality of being such a wonderful companion. Great responsibility lies with breeders in their selection of which breeding stock they choose. The future of the breed is dependent on how the current generation is carefully bred. All must be done to preserve the high standards that have been previously set.

Today the Boston Terrier appears to be making a major comeback in the USA. They are starring in numerous commercials, paper ads and adorning clothing, backpacks and toys. Besides being excellent companions and competing in dog shows, Boston Terriers are excelling in many other areas. Fly Ball, agility trials, Pet Therapy and Service Dogs are just a few examples of the versatility of this breed. With their intelligence and great dispositions, the world is their limit.
